As sponsors for the 8th International Conference on Tritium Science and Technology, the University of Rochester's Laboratory for Laser Energetics welcomes your participation at the conference to be held at the Hyatt Regency in Rochester, New York, September 16 through 21, 2007.

The conference will include oral and poster presentations plus an industrial exhibition. Topics for invited and contributed papers will include, but are not limited to:

  • Tritium processing, transport, and storage
  • Detritiation, purification, and isotopic separation
  • Decontamination and Waste Management
  • Tritium handling facilities
  • Tritium measurement, monitoring, and accountancy
  • Containment, safety, and environmental impact
  • Tritium properties and interaction with materials
  • Industrial and biomedical applications

The conference format will resemble previous conferences. Conference registration will begin late Sunday afternoon with a welcoming reception and registration Sunday evening. Our conference banquet will be held Thursday evening (20 September 2007). A tour of the University of Rochester's Laboratory for Laser Energetics will be publicized at a later date.

Papers will be published in Fusion Science and Technology.

The working language of this conference will be English.
